Amiri Diwan — Bayan Palace

Salat Al-Tahrir Hall

Commissioned in 1991 under the late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad, this hall at Bayan Palace has hosted Kuwait’s grandest state celebrations and international conferences, including GCC summits and Arab economic gatherings. Galleria led its renovation in 2012, restoring its finishes to match the grandeur of the occasions it hosts.

Part of Bayan Palace’s official reception complex, where the State of Kuwait receives visiting heads of state and dignitaries. Galleria carried out its renovation in 2013, renewing a space where every architectural detail carries national weight.

The Grand Mosque — Main Dome

Designed by architect Mohammed Makiya in the grand Andalusian style, the Grand Mosque spans 45,000 sqm with a central dome 26 meters wide and 43 meters tall, inscribed with the 99 Names of Allah. On the 27th night of Ramadan alone, its courtyards hold over 170,000 worshippers — making it Kuwait’s most significant religious landmark.
